• Measure, measure, measure. We do it often, to get the job done right!
• The surface is cleaned and allowed to dry
• Points are marked and positioned prior to beginning the permanent installation
• Tiles are cut as needed at the ends of the space to be tiled
• Tiles are arranged by tones and sizes to create a uniform background
• Mortar is mixed and applied to the surface with a trowel
• The tile is then laid in small sections, using level lines and spacers
• The tile is flattened with a float as needed
• Tile pieces are custom cut for tricky spaces
• Natural stones are given a pre-sealer so that the grout won't stick
• Next, the grout is mixed and applied, and excess grout is removed
• The tiles are then cleaned and allowed to dry
• After completely dry, sealer can be applied to the grout
• Voila! Your backsplash is complete!
